LPPR Porto Approach
« on: July 20, 2020, 03:13:19 PM »
Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, so I hope I'm not doing something wrong.

I've been listening to several feeds and one of them is the LPPR Porto Approach, my hometown airport. In the last the few days, even though the feed is up, there hasn't been much talk on it for an active airport. After some googling I've noticed that the frequency stated on the LiveATC website isn't listed in the official documents for that airport. Today, 20/07/2020, I heard them saying to a pilot that 121.105 is closed and should contact 120.910 . This is the frequency stated in one of the official documents that I found, namely the VFR Manual for Porto. Is it possible to change frequencies on the receiver?

The link to the VFR Manual is bellow:
https://www.nav.pt/docs/AIS/aerodromos/portoAD.pdf?sfvrsn=26

Many thanks and keep up the awesome work of providing us with hours and hours of great content!

Just to add a bit more information/confirmation, I managed to create a small clip where the ATC informs a pilot of the new frequency.

This was recorded today at around 1249Z
