Title: Los Angeles to New York VFR LP record
Post by: tigerheavy on August 09, 2005, 11:01:13 PM
Hello,

I recently came across an old LP record titled "Los Angeles to New York VFR" at a second hand dealer in Melbourne,Australia.
The album contains an ATC recording of a flight made in a Beechcraft Debonair during April 1961 by pilot Paul Blackman and was produced by Aero-Progress inc.
The asking price was $15 AUD,and appeared to be in good condition,it also includes an LA area Jeppesen chart dated 23 SEPT 1960.
Anybody think it would be a worthwhile purchase?

Regards

Interesting....

It sounds cool for aviation and ATC enthusiasts but why someone would make a record of it vexes me.  Sounds like Aero-Progress inc. may have taken a bath on this one.
