Hey guys,

DO any of you have a map of all the different Los Angeles Center Frequencies. I decided to track a flight last night to see how far I can pick planes up. I lost him on 125.72.

Thanks,

Matt

Match the freqs and sector numbers to where they are on the map
http://www.freqofnature.com/index.php?m=ARTCC%20Centers&p=ZLA%20Los%20Angeles

Just looked it up, 25.72 is the 30 Sector High outta Barstow.

If you are located in the Los Angeles area you should be able to hear LAX outbounds via Daggett (DAG) - Las Vegas (LAS) get the handoff from 125.725 to 132.625 when they are about 155 nm northeast of LAX. 132.625 is sector 34, it's not labelled on the map from the website above, but it's the sector depicted overhead the Las Vegas area. After Sector 34 they get handed off to Sector 32/33. Sector 32 (135.550) which isn't labelled on the map either is a ultra high sector (FL340 and above) covering the same area as sector 33 (135.250, FL240 to FL330). After that it's to Denver or Salt Lake, depending on the route.
