so it seems that the controllers at caldwell didnt know about this website so yesterday (3/12/06) i went to the tower to talk to some of them about a school. I've been good friends with all of them for years, but anyways I went up and showed them this website and they where stuned lol.. "who did they do that"

Cool, Rob! Thanks for spreading the word! I find it interesting how so many controllers haven't found their way to the site yet. Many have, but many have not.

Keep spreading the word. The flyer is a good way to start...

Classic! I've been hovering around this subject/topic (ATC) for years and only recently came across this site. There are so many resources out there it's hard to know everything, even if they're the best ones out there. Growing pains I guess you could call them...

What's sad is that when I toured the tower about 2-3 months ago, I told them about the site, and that there was even a KCDW feed. Oh well, I'm glad they know about it...again

Would it be possible some of them knew 'before' but not now? By that, I mean they just didn't remember/write it down because they weren't that interested?

I know I love work, and I enjoy what I do... but at the end of the day, you like a break from it and do something else. After a full day of controlling, perhaps they just wanna kick back and watch some ball?

I mentioned it to those that were in the tower cab at the time, then on the way out, as I was leaving, the person escorting me out wrote down the address.

At some point after that, though, my reception was pretty awful for quite a while there. Only recently did I get it back up to snuff by tightening up a t-connector.

Perhaps they tried it during the period where the reception stank and just forgot about it.

In any case, it's great that they know about it now

If I get a third scanner, I will separate out the MMU and CDW feeds. They're both fairly busy on the weekends.
