I was listening to KNX 1070 news radio this morning and it seems to be that there is a little problem with the new Bradley International Terminal being built and the height of the air traffic control tower being too low to be able to see the gates and taxi ways in the area.

Thanks for the link.
So the new tower is where Quebec and Sierra is right?
I thought they could not see those taxi ways right now as it is? Just the added danger of now having gates there?
(also, traffic cops of the sky? Come on TV news. What's wrong with traffic controller)

This area of the airport has been out of atc visual since TBIT was built, over 30 years ago.
The new construction will just add gates to the scenario, but with added CCTV and ground radar added for more safety.
They will NOT build another tower, or add to its height.
