Yes - the first video was the one I was referring to. However, the last video shows the short final much better, I think. Pretty amazing when you stop to think about the fact that they are doing it in a Boeing 747, not a Cessna 172. Pretty darn skilled at what they do.
I used to think that you had to have something like a 747, set-up on a very long stabilized approach, before you could land it with passengers - just as a company protocol or something. But, these videos prove that wrong. These guys are definitely making short finals with passengers while fighting a strong X-Wnd component at the same time! Like I said, pretty amazing stuff. You really do have to have a good feel for an aircraft that big, in order to be able to do that.
