VFR Airlfields
« on: May 02, 2020, 06:55:47 AM »
Dear friends,

I was wondering if there is any station available that covers VFR traffics, the airports usually I have listened to are all covering IFR traffics and I would like to listen to some VFR transmission to level up my training.

Cheers

I have a receiver ready to be added to LiveATC. It is in the queue [LiveATC #42922].

The receiver is set for the CTAF frequency at KBUY. The radio is in a hanger at the airport with outside antennas (ADSB, UAT, airband) mounted to the top of the hanger. Because it is right at the airport, all the action is captured. Even things like announcing when there will be a runway crossing (both planes and fuel trucks).

This has plenty of VFR traffic, towered and due to currently reduced tower hours also untowered:
