LiveATC on iPhone4 - switch off

How do I stop this application on my iPhone? There seems to be no such control other than switching off the phone itself?

You can close the app through the multitasking bar:

That's correct - this is no different than any other app that runs in the background on iOS.  And it is not very obvious...it's one of those things you have to pick up along the way.
