KSMO has been down for a few weeks now. Any word on when it will be back?
I might be in a position to provide an alternate feed for this airport. I have a spare computer but not a spare scanner. I'd be willing to invest in getting it up and running if the current feed provider isn't working anymore.

Have not been able to reach the provider after a couple attempts. Let's chat via email or PM (email preferred).

I spoke to the provider who is a co-worker of mine. Unfortunately he has moved, and is not near KSMO anymore. I recommend getting a used PRO-136 base on Ebay, they are way-cheap, and it's airband receive is outstanding.

The PRO-136 is discontinued, but if you can find a RS store that still has any stock, you can get them for $20 brand new! Picked one up the other day...

Yep, but they're getting hard to find. Call ahead first and see if they have any.

Indeed - next best thing to being there! :-)

I'm glad everyone is enjoying it! I'm happy to volunteer, mostly for selfish reasons, though (I really want to be able to listen to my home field).
