Title: KSJC Tower

Anybody know why Tower is not transmitting on this freq?  I can hear traffic, but no Tower.

This can happen on any feed - either local interference is masking the SJC Tower transmissions or the signal was marginal to begin with and has fallen below the noise floor of the receiver sending the feed.  I will see if there is anything we can do to improve it.  LiveATC runs the other SJC feeds but can't do a Tower feed because of local cable TV interference that falls right on the Tower frequency, which would keep the squelch open constantly.  We tried.  :-)

Hi, I don't know if it's already been reported or not but it came back for a few days but now the tower transmissions are gone again. I work near KSJC and am far enough inside my building that a scanner won't work well.
