I just hooked my antenna thats on a mast about 25ft in the air it's a Radio Shack outdoor antenna that runs about $20 and it's also hooked up to a GRE super amplifier 3001.

I am back using the Radio Shack magnet mount antenna after playing around with both antennas this one works the best it is only 8ft off the ground.

Other Airfield Facilities/Services

Airport Viewing Park - The Viewing Park, located adjacent to the airport's fire station on Tower Drive near the Air Traffic Control Tower, is designed to promote interest in aviation. A walkway will lead you to the site where benches are available for you to relax and enjoy the view. You will also be able to listen to actual communications between air traffic controllers and pilots, through the aircraft radio installed at the site. The Viewing Park is opened from sunrise to sunset.
