Can't you just start feeding the stream, squelching away the AM radio?

I feel your pain. It took me months of this and that trying different things. Im just happy I didn't nose dive off the roof getting the antennas up. The PAR filters worked for me, but the discone just receives too many freqs to be practical at my locale. I have a discone that I'll sent to you if you pay the shipping, but I think that you will end up as I did getting a Jpole tuned to the LAX freqs. Best of luck!!
