Does anyone know of a good place i could listen to KIAH tower or app/dep. The one on live atc site its very staticey, needing to re-buffer often.

If your asking about at the airport, there are a couple places. There's a parking garage, one time I went to the top level, parked my car right at the back of the garage and listned to ATC for a couple hours, and you can even do some spotting as well. You do have to pay to park, but it's really not that bad.
