Kennedy Steve retired?
« on: August 30, 2017, 01:30:07 AM »
I was goofing off looking at shirts and I saw this

"Kennedy Steve hung up a 28 year career as an air traffic controller at JFK tower and will now be forever immortalized in our Collection"

I knew he was coming up on mandatory retirement but is it so? Is he truly gone?

Today is my last day working at Kennedy Tower. I will be out today , using sick leave, and my doctor has reccomended a round of golf to prepare me for my retirement. I have been so fortunate to have worked with some truly amazing people over my 28 year career and wish I all my NATCA brothers and sisters nothing but the best as they continue to run and manage the busiest and most complex ATC system in the world.
"Kennedy Steve" has left the building so tug drivers of the world rejoice as your world just got a little more pleasant!
