KCLT feed question
« on: November 03, 2012, 01:01:39 PM »
Thanks again to whomever is proving this feed.  I thoroughly enjoy listening to this channel.

There seems to be a problem with the audio feed.  The first few seconds of any audio transmission from either tower or the pilots sounds great but after a few seconds the audio become indiscernible.  It becomes very quiet and somewhat garbled (almost like talking a tunnel).  Does anyone know why this is occurring?

Thanks for the help and also thanks again for providing this feed.

Is anyone else having audio problems with this feed?

Looking into the issue...the encoding server may need a reboot.

Dave,

Sorry to be a pest... the feed still seems to be having the same issue.  Were you able to reboot the encoding server?

The issue has not been diagnosed yet.  There isn't technical help on site at that location.  We need to have someone go out there and that could take another week or so.
