Captain, we have a stow away on board...
« on: February 15, 2010, 08:59:48 PM »
"A TAM Transporte Aereo Militar Bolivia British Aerospace BAe 146-200, flight 775 from Cochabamba to La Paz (Bolivia), was a few minutes into the 35 minutes hop, when a female passenger released a cry prompting a doctor on board to rush to assistance. Just before the airplane landed in La Paz another cry was heard in the cabin, this time a new born girl making her presence known prompting the rest of the passengers to cheer. The airplane landed safely, mother and baby were taken to a local hospital for a check up and were found well."

I just read that the parents of the baby born on the TAM flight have named the little girl TAMI. Cute, she will be given free air travel on the airline until she is 21.

Here is a pic of a TAM BAe 146 and some info about TAM.

Smart looking airplane if you ask me! Very nice colors! I always liked the BAe 146/Avro RJ 85.

Also, there website is at the bottom:

Below is a TAM BAe 146-200 FAB-100 (cn E2080) in slightly different colors then the one on the website I linked to.
She used to be N290UE with United Express carrier Air Wisconson:

The BAe 146 at the bottom is from the website...I like this color scheme:
