KBIL Approach and Ground are silent
« on: May 18, 2022, 05:38:34 PM »
Since about November of 2021, KBIL Approach and Ground have been silent, yet their status is still UP. I understand there are sometimes outages and whatnot, but this particular outage has been going on for around six months now, and the feeds have been marked as UP the entire time.

I totally get it if the provider has new limitations that they can only feed the Tower frequency, which does reliably work, but I think it would be worth marking the KBIL Approach (120.500) and KBIL Ground (121.900) as down since there is no audio being fed to them. At least on all the KBIL frequencies there was a constant soft static sound, but Ground and Approach don't even have that which is a sign to me that there is no feed at all.

I'm new to the forums/support aspect of this site so if there's a better category to put this in or a better way to bring this issue to the attention of the right people, please advise. I did also check "Feed Outage/Status Reports" forum and there was nothing regarding this particular issue.
