Don't worry, JD's bark is worse than his bite. Actually, he's very knowledgable for a relative newb. You will probably learn a lot from him when he's having a better day.

Wow that was kind of bitter wasn't it? You'd think I worked at N90 or PHL by that post.
As for my instructor chewing me out....ah, you know how those "old guys" are.
Oh and for the record, everytime I've seen AF1 fly into an airport he's been on standard VHF freqs, nothing special, just like a regular airliner or GA aircraft.
