This is my first trip to India, and I'm currently writing this from 44E on UAL49. Yesterday we started the journey back to EWR. As we exited the PNQ - BOM plane, we walked to a bus and prepared to board it for a short ride to domestic arrivals. As we stood outside, a 737 turned into the gate, blasting us as we stood outside the bus. I couldn't believe that was allowed to happen. Could anything like that ever happen in the US?

I imagine it happens often with airports that use remote stands a lot. America likes gates with jetways.
