Title: Is there center coverage on the west of Florida?
Post by: 777lrf on September 06, 2016, 05:32:10 AM
Up and down the Gulf Coast, and into the Gulf of Mexico, are there any stations that cover a few frequencies for the center? I notice a lot of feeds but none that cover any zulu high/low coverage. Are there any plans to add coverage from a couple stations such as at KTLH or KPNS? And down the south west coast KPIE and KTPA. It would be nice to have some center coverage from aircraft flying west from Florida.

KTLH is back up and running after Hurricane Hermine. I go plan on adding a second feed for jax Center (CJX). There is an RCAG site here locally.

On all of the sites we're running remotely on the west coast of Florida we make an effort to add Center coverage. Sometimes site capacity or receiver location doesn't allow it. We are constantly adding Center coverage all over the place.

Sorry I meant JAX Center ZJX not CJX.

That is good to hear thank you Dave. And thank you Doug for hosting a feed!
