Title: Hillarious conversations with Toronto ATC
Post by: Jonathan_tcu on September 20, 2005, 09:23:16 PM
I'm laughing my hiney off tonight.  I heard the Simcoe sector ask an aircraft to do one turn in the hold, just to pull his time back.  The controller's word was "You'll have to do one turn in the hold over the Simco VOR, just to 'bleed' some time.

Also heard another controller asking an aircraft to forecast his departure time to 0028 Z from Simco and expect radar vectors.  The pilot responded with "Ok, go right ahead and start vectoring".

The 3 funny expressions I heard were:

I'll give you an expected clearance time of 0028 zulu with via radar vectors from the Simco VOR, just to 'bleed' some time..  Pilot response is:  Ok, roger that, ... start vectoring.<

Another controller:

With two sweeps on the screen, you are radar identified at seven thousand feet.
