Airbus A380 makes a circle above me

Thought this was quite strange, maybe not.  I see this huge plane above me in my backyard.  I look on flight radar and its a British Airways Airbus A380.  It begins to make a huge circle around Las Vegas..  Why would they do this?

Think that has ATC coverage?

Edit:  On second look, it appears it started it's descent into LAX.
