Title: Help, massive newbie!

hello, as much as i try, i simply cant get my live chatter ATC to work in FS9
firstly i apologize, i promised i would fix my bosses flight simulator because it stops him from beating me.

i start Live ATC to which i have a stream that i think works but i actually have no idea as i dont know how to download live streams

when i start a flight nothing happens. i know this sounds stupid but im at my wits end!
please help!!!!
