Help Finding Audio Clip about engine failure
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:24:09 PM »
At approximately 10:00am local time in New Orleans, there was a plane crash (Aero Commander) I am bad with looking at archives and narrowing it down. Much appreciate it if someone could find audio for me. Would probably be on the KMSY feed as that has approach

I've listened to the KMSY feed and the only thing I heard about this accident was an approach controller referring to a possible location where the plane might be.  I didn't hear any direct communication with the accident airplane.  It's possible that this occurred on an approach frequency not covered by liveatc.  I'll keep looking and if I found anything more I'll post it.

Sorry posted too soon...I found more on the accident.  Unfortunately, you can only hear the controller side of the transmissions; the pilot can't be heard.  He must have been too low in altitude...the audio for this incident has been posted in the Audio Clip forum...
