Title: Heavy Snow Ops at CLE
Post by: Hopkins on December 19, 2004, 08:41:20 AM
If anyone is interested in hearing airport operations during heavy snow, today (12/19) is going to be a particularly bad day at KCLE.  They're using Type IV deicer and the 6L braking action is already reported as poor.

Excellent.  CO and WN like to send 'em to CMH when you guys are socked in.  :D

I know... last week Monday I heard quite a few that were diverted to CMH; a few also went to PIT, as I recall.

Yikes, CMH controller said CVG is on one runway and that one has poor braking action.

CMH has been switching from one to another all day long, no real delays to speak of here.
