Guam to KJAX in a Lancair IV
« on: March 01, 2013, 03:01:19 PM »
Swiped from a Facebook post by FlightAware:
"Live & en route.....Guam to Florida nonstop in a Lancair. Over 7,000nm."

I'd love to hear him talking to ATC. Does anyone feed trans-Pacific?  :-D
I'm going to try to listen in when he nears KJAX around 9:30 am EST tomorrow!

FlightAware doesn't seem to be able to calculate the arrival time. He's just entered Colorado and is traveling @200kts, with approx. 1,400 nm remaining. That puts him @7hrs remaining, or an ETA of 2130Z = 14:30 EST. Haven't heard one iota of chatter on Denver Center Low. I'm going back to sleep.
