Fukuoka Japan
« on: January 04, 2024, 22:38:06 UTC »
It seems most if not all of the frequencies seem to be non active or the extremem staticy nature of the feeds are blocking air traffic from being heard. Secondly can the frequency 127.9 be added since i did hear a weak handoff to that frequency.

Thanks

Good morning - Ohayo-Gozaimasu

Because Fukuoka Airport is located in the city center, the airport's operational hours are limited.
Takeoffs and landings are permitted from 07:00 to 22:00 Japan time, so outside of these hours, VHF is very quiet.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukuoka_Airport

Fukuoka Airport is the busiest single runway airport in Japan, so VHF is very busy during operation hours.

It is now 08:39 JST (23:37 UTC) and there are takeoffs and landings almost every 2 minutes.

For other frequency bands... If anyone feeds higher frequency bands, it would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Would you consider adding some high altitude frequencies for a future feed ?

I have heard a handoff to 135.65 and I do believe 133.15/132.4/134.35 may be in your area . If you have verified high level frequencies you know of can you message me to HIvory1965@outlook.com or in PM  so I can cross reference with a Central Japan SDR feed i listen to .

Unfortunately, I have no plans to do so at this time

The frequencies you mentioned include FUKUOKA control/KOBE control/TOKYO control.  I have researched and investigated various airbands around Fukuoka, and found that they are divided between FUKUOKA control and KOBE control according to altitude (bounded by FL335), and that the airspace around Fukuoka Airport is divided into smaller areas and frequencies are assigned to each. There are so many airbands in three dimensions that it is difficult to understand what is what. :-o

yes i am finding that out with the SDR i listen too . Fukuoka seems to control all of Japan at super high and Sapporo/Tokyo/Kobe as you mentioned for the lower levels . Would you happen to have an updated list or chart depicting frequencies and sectors ? I pretty much have north of Osaka figured out but Southern part of Japan and Kyusu island i am having problems with

Here is JP gov official FIR chart.
https://www.mlit.go.jp/common/001132162.pdf

I don't know the latest table of airspace and frequencies, but if you search for 'FUKUOKA ACC F13 frequency' or 'KOBE ACC N53 frequency' you will find them.
... I just noticed that F03 (FUKUOKA control) and N53 (KOBE control) have the same frequency.  :-D

Thanks for providing the feed nobo. Interesting to be able to listen to that area. Reception seems a little scratchy with interference, just wondering what sort of antenna you are using ?

Also curious if you can hear the controller on 133.150 ?

Would you happen to have an updated list or chart depicting frequencies and sectors ?

This is what I have for frequencies for Kobe and Fukuoka. All recently confirmed.

Okegawa... Honda Airport, maybe. Located in the northern part of Tokyo.

I would somehow hope that maybe the operator of the feed be able to Temporarily make a feed or add to the 118.9 feed 133.15 and 135.3 , maybe a week so i can cross reference if that is not too much to ask of ?

The bandwidth of the RTL-SDR dongle is limited to 2.56Mhz and cannot be covered by one dongle.
If I can find a way to buy an additional dongle and antenna without telling my wife, I might be able to do it.

I asked Amazon to deliver to office address 8-), and got additional dongle without family trouble
Now RJFF Controls updated and started test streaming...

Previous:  1 channel
Facility     Frequency
Kobe Control (N53)     118.900

Current:  6 channels mixed, 1st to 6th panning from left to right,  1st and 6th are busy.
Facility     Frequency
Kobe Control (N53)     118.900     Good
Fukuoka Control (F12)     133.150     Fairly good
Fukuoka Control (F13)     133.600     Sometime when handover
Kobe Control (N54)     133.850     Same the above
Fukuoka Control (F14)     135.300     Same the above
Kobe Control (N52)     135.650     Good

This is the limit of what I can do
