:? Today I read there where about 200 flights still affected by a fuel distribution problem.

I also have seen some video's at the web where Miami turned into the old school Wild West, After reading the story above when tyhey don't even know how many tanks are involved it could be hard to find any cause.

Could some bullets do this? In the video's I have seen people (gangsta's) just walk over street firing uzi's.....

From my experience with large fuel systems, the most likely cause is the pumping system and its associated electrical systems. While fuel loading and unloading would also be at the top of the list. It appears that they use remote fueling and with no reports of injuries or the loss of a fuel truck that pretty much leaves that out.

That seems to be the thinking on site as well.

"The blaze, which Abreu said may have been caused by a short circuit at one of the pumps, was contained by early Thursday morning. However, fueling challenges remain."
