"... flight FX-1557 from Washington National,DC to Cincinnati,KY (USA) ... Upon requested to selected emergency transponder code, the crew selected the code for unlawful interference causing a puzzled ATC inquiry "is the cockpit secure?" followed by ATC telling the correct emergency code. ..."

Did the pilot squak 7500? :-o   Even a rookie private pilot knows that's hijacking.  Time to brush up on those codes cappy. :lol:
