Only looks to affect departures (not arrivals or aircraft already flying).  So yeah, expect major ground stops at many of the large airports.

Yup. No strips on departures this morning. Usually they print 30 minutes prior to the proposed departure time except it didn't happen today.

maybe they should have more then 2 nadin hubs...almost every time one goes down for maintenance or otherwise the other gets so swamped the whole system grinds to a stop.

You need to follow the money.  Don Brown has been all over this for some time.  It goes back to Congressman John Mica.  Here is the follow up today.
