This is an excellent feed if you like listening to high altitude enroute traffic. Very good reception of the controllers on all 3 ZKC frequencies and it's not too busy most of the time you can follow what is going on. Although personally I could do without the 122.80 unicom frequency.
In addition to hearing STL arrivals inbound on the
Vandalia 6, you can also hear STL departures via the
Gateway 4. Enroute traffic like:
ORD departures via Roberts (RBS). CVG departures via the
Whitewater 4 filed over Decatur (DEC). IND departures via the
Rocky 4. DFW departures via the
AKUNA 2 filed over McAlester (MLC) northeastbound. IAH departures via the
Lufkin 4 northbound via J101. DFW arrivals from the northeast via St Louis (STL) and Farmington (FAM) to Fort Smith (FSM) and the
Bonham 5. IAH arrivals via St Louis (STL) J101. MSP departures southeastbound filed over Nashville (BNA) and MSP arrivals northwestbound filed over Waterloo (ALO) (on direct routings). MDW arrivals via Centralia (ENL)-Pontiac(PNT). MKE arrivals via J35 to Joliete (JOT). ATL departures via the
COKEM 3 filed via Nashville (BNA). And lots of transcontinental traffic both eastbound and westbound filed via Brickyard (VHP) and St Louis (STL). Not a complete list but it will give you a general idea of what sort of traffic you are listening too. DJ
