Hey guys, With all this discussion about becoming an Air Traffic Controller here in the US, does anyone know how to become a controller in Europe???

I know about EuroControl and such, but if i understand correctly, they just deal with enroute (center) traffic.  

Does anyone know how to become a Tower or Approach controller at an airport?

Contact your local aviation authority. They will provide you with more information such as requirements, how to apply, what tests to prepare for, and so on.

Are you already qualified as a controller or  you are looking to be a train as one and then end as an approach controller??

For uk
try http://www.nats.co.uk and http://natscareers.co.uk

or go to individual country Air traffic control provider websites and check under recruitment

im just a student in the United States, and I was always interested in what it would be like to control in Europe.  I am originally from Belgium and have been seriously considering moving back home and I was just curious what the options were...
