Emergency In Progress at LAX

Just saw cnn has live video of a "damaged plane circling LAX"...i just started listening

Sweet...watching the video while listening to ATC.

Looks like a blown tire on takeoff.

UPDATE - Taxied to the gate under his own power with fire escort.  To the disappointment of CNN, crisis averted.

It could be a new record.   Some of the upcoming system changes will allow keeping track of the max listeners.

When I heard about it on the radio, I was praying that it wasn't stuck on ATIS, as my set up is prone to do. Happy to see that it came through.
