Title: EAA Oshkosh recordings
Post by: MSN ATC on April 22, 2005, 11:02:59 PM
I found some recordings today that I made of Oshkosh ATC during the 2003 EAA convention. I converted to MP3's, so if you're interested, you can download them here:

These are just random recordings, no particular event, just the machine gun tempo of the controllers is pretty cool to listen to.

AHAHA, I have never heard of such a paranoid controller!

"36R, your goin 36R, ok you can go right into the grass, runway 36R your cleared to land, traffic is short final runway 36L, you'll be landing 36R, just pull off into the grass"

When you're simultaneously landing three planes on the same runway, it never hurts to be extra cautious and explicit.  :)
