LROP Feed Down
« on: June 18, 2024, 17:23:48 UTC »
Hello. I would like to notify that LROP ATC is off-line for several weeks. When is it coming back? Thank you.

LiveATC is aware that the LROP feeds are down and is working on getting them restored.  But right now there is no ETA on when that will happen.

It's been almost two weeks since it stopped working again. Any ETA on when it's coming back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There are equipment issues at the LROP feed site.  There is no ETA when it will be back.  No feed is guaranteed to be up 24/7/365.  Most feeds are provided by volunteers and every effort is made to keep feeds up and running but they can go down at any time for reasons beyond the control of LiveATC.

Is there a way to contact the person responsible at the LROP feed site? Or at least try with someone else if it turns out that that person no longer wants to supply the equipment?

In these cases, i'm thinking that it would have been nice to have some sort of subscription based model where aviation enthusiasts like myself or others would pay the service, and in turn the volunteers for their contribution.
