Not sure why this isn't listed on the website, but a CYVR (Vancouver, BC) feed appears to be located at the following URL:
http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/cyvr
Cheers.

Probably one of the beta feeds.

Sounds good, too.

nice work with the vancouver feed.
got pics of your setup??
how far are you from the airport?
are there any aerials at the center located in surrey?
-
Wow... so the CYVR Vancouver feed finally gets revealed! :)
It's been in "alpha" phase for the longest time (since Aug 2006 last year)... and it never hit the Beta feeds for some reason.
No pictures of the setup as it's nothing interesting at all, it's just close by (about <5 miles away). As for aerials near Surrey, no idea... somebody probably has something set up near there. Why Surrey though?

that's where the center is located

I'm a newbie here...just a quick question...
I was listening to the CYVR streaming feed through RealPlayer and it's awesome!
Just couldn't find the frequency when I use my ICOM IC-R5 radio....
I've tried several frequencies which are listed under the section "VHF/UHF Aviation Frequencies" in this webiste.
It didn't match with the one (the streaming feed can be heard from RealPlayer) when using the ICOM IC-R5...
Is there something wrong with my radio?
Or is there another specific frequency?
I'm very new to this...so I don't know what to do.
It would be very appreciated if someone can help me with this. :-)
Thank you :-)

yeah...I know it sounds silly...but just couldn't figure it out :-D
which frequency should I dial to so I can listen to the exact transmission which I heard from live streaming feed through RealPlayer...?
silly question again... :-D
-
Well, it wouldn't be exact anyway. You typically have the 7-10 second encoding delay in the stream, so you should lock on to a phrase you hear on the scanner and listen for it a few seconds later on the feed. Then, you should pick one method or the other. Listening to an echo can drive you insane.

Thank you for the explanation! :-)
I've tried several frequencies such as
128.600 YVR Terminal - Arrival High (Outer)
133.100 YVR Terminal - Arrival Low (Inner)
132.300 YVR Terminal - Departure South
126.125 YVR Terminal - Departure North
125.200 YVR Terminal - Vancouver TRSA
120.500 YVR Terminal - ILS Monitor
120.800 YVR Terminal - ILS Monitor
128.175 YVR Terminal - ILS Monitor
When I dialed to those above channels, they only have few transmission.
It seems like the channel I heard from the live streaming feed has busier traffic...
I only know those channels...is there more channels related to CYVR?
Sorry.... :-D
and thank you for your patience... :-)

Can you hear the controllers (ground station) from your location ? A lot of the time they link some of the Vancouver Terminal frequencies together via a relay system. For example the Tower-Ground frequencies will be linked together as well as the Departure-Arrival frequencies depending on the traffic. For example if you are listening to North Departure on 126.125 and it is linked via relay with South Departure (132.300) you will hear the aircraft on both frequencies, but only if you can hear the ground station transmissions, if you can't hear the ground station you will only hear the traffic on 126.125.
