Singapore: bad quality/crosstalk?
« on: March 16, 2013, 01:19:48 AM »
I'm a newbie, just started listening for interest only.

I tried listening to wsss2 (labeled asWSSS Gnd/Twr/App/Radar)
The description shows seperate frequencies:
Facility   Frequency
Singapore Approach/Departure   120.300
Singapore Approach/Departure   124.600
Singapore Arrival   119.300
Singapore Ground   121.725
Singapore Ground   121.850
Singapore Ground   124.300
Singapore Radar   124.050
Singapore Tower   118.600

Does the main MP3 stream multiplex all those onto one stream?

I ask, because (so far mostly on the live stream), I hear several conversations overloaded on each other, and also much static etc. making much of the traffic really hard to understand (or one misses parts completely).

On the last recording, things seems to be a *bit*  better, but still with much static and disturbances.

Is there maybe a way to only listen to one of those frequencies (I suspect that would have to be separate streams)?
