Post by: olinadeau on August 23, 2008, 15:27:41 UTC
Hi All,

I'm living here in Quebec City and since 7/08, the feed is down. Do someone know why  and when it will be working again ?

Thanks !

If I can help, just tell me what to do. I already have a server that could be used to share this feed. I just need to know witch equipement is required (recepter, entenna, software).

THX :)

Look around in the FAQ: http://www.liveatc.net/forums/index.php/board,6.0.html especially "what is required to run a feed" http://www.liveatc.net/forums/index.php/topic,1000.msg4565.html#msg4565

If you are within range of the airport, you need an airband receiver (preferably a scanner) and a cable to connect it to your computer you have now. Dave can provide you with the software you need.
A simple outdoor antenna (with good quality coax) will greatly improve your reception; but you can make it yourself.

Great ! Can you give me some scanners or receivers models for example ? If it's not too much expensive, I may buy one.
