11/26/05) LINCOLN PARK - A small plane crashed into a Morris County residential neighborhood Saturday, injuring two on board and narrowly missing two homes.
The plane took off from Lincoln Park Airport, less than a mile away from the scene of the crash. Police say the pilot and his passenger, who both suffered only minor injuries, immediately reported some type of trouble.
The plane came down in the woods, narrowly missing two homes by about 100 feet. Residents reported hearing the plane scraping the trees, but did not report seeing an explosion or fire.
