Shep, we need you.  Have faith and give it a shot.  Things will turn around.  My youngest son is now working ATC at Sheppard AFB.  It CAN"T stay like this forever.  Bad things are going to happen, it's a matter of 'when' not 'if'.

Hi LH, I'm also a DoD controller at Camp Pen with some prior contract tower and class Bravo experience who is, Lord willing, hoping to come and work with you either in the tower or there at the TRACON, am currently in contact with the folks in OKC who say I am tentatively selected for P50, I was actaully hoping to work in the tower, but it sounds like the real need is there in the tracon...  I just wanted to say how much I appreciated your insight with this post, it's just like what we've been hearing from others. 

Hopefully it will get better, but as one of my DI's said, and seems like you're saying...? "it's going to get worse before it gets better"
