Title: CBCs Doc Zone: The Sky's The Limit
Post by: bcrosby on November 14, 2008, 12:30:40 PM
There is an interesting documentary about "greening" airliners to be more environmentally friendly.

There is some discussion about NavCanada and what they are doing to air traffic patterns to facilitate burning less fuel.

You can view the documentary here:

(note, it may not be available for users outside of Canada.)

I watched that last night, it was quite interesting.  You gotta love the 'No Third Runway' (Plane Stupid) protesters.  I could really get into how the environmentalist wanted to keep countries like India the way they are now, but I probably shouldn't

Heh.. yeah the protesters were funny. Like what was the deal holding up the baby with "stop airport expansion" written on its clothes.
