Post by: PropwashYKZ on September 25, 2006, 08:38:36 PM
Feeds will not play in winamp. They work in WMP though. I am using version 5.24 PRO. I tried previous versions with no luck.

Whats going on?

Hate to say it, but It Works For Me[tm]. Winamp 5.1 surround Edition, and XMMS 1.2.4.

I hate when that happens.  :-)  And it happens to all of us.

I'm listening to JFK clearance/ground and I am really sympathetic for the ATC there. All the foregin airlines with sub-par English really must be trying at times. I can tell they are getting annoyed at times.

JFK Ground: Korean taxi to runway 31L on bravo, hold short golf
Korean: We are taking off on 31L?
JFK: Afirmative
Korean: There is no taxiway golf
JFK: yes, there is near international arrivals
Korean: No there isn't. oh yes I see it.

This has to do more with not being familiar with the field, let alone the language barrier. Any and every pilot should be familiar with the field they are arriving at/departing from prior to steeping onboard the plane.
