Title: Callsign question ?

Listening to the ZNY feed. Heard "Flight Connect 3513" on McGuire Approach at 3000 feet, cleared to 6000 then handed off to 128.300 New York Center. Anyone know who "Flight Connect" is ? Also heard a USAF(?) callsign "TEAM 38" out of McGuire, any idea what type ? Neither callsign appear to be listed in any database.

TEAM is a KC10 with 305AMW.

Flight Connect is not registered as an FAA authorized call sign.   The 7340.1 is the FAA Contraction Manual.  You can look up any call sign here:

Use Section 2 for telephony.  It's probably more current than other databases.

Thanks. Speaking of USAF callsigns, using Flight Explorer right now, for some reason it's displaying all active US military flights, normally they are blocked. Route and type is still blocked, but callsign and position is being shown. D'oh !?

the call sign "Team" is normally assigned to a nonstandard formation flight of KC-10 from the 305th at WRI. The numbered suffix corresponds to the day of the week. Example- "Team 76" is a flight that will launch on Sunday. If they go east bound to the refueling tracks after departure the are given direct MANTA intersection to maintain 6000 per the Point Pleasant 4 SID/LOA and switched to ZNY, Manta sector on 128.3.

Could that "Flight Connect" have actually been "Flight Check" and was just misheard?
