BOEING 787
« on: July 26, 2010, 01:21:27 AM »
If there are any Sacramento area spotters/listeners here, looks like the B787 has been in and out if KMHR - Mather recently. Im not sure but they may have been at Travis AFB under the same callsign BOE2 as well. If I happen to catch the right time i'll try to pick up some audio from it.

Dreamliners 1 and 5 were very busy testing slow flight off the coast of Oregon/Washington most of last week. I haven't seen Dreamliner 2 up here at all, and if it's in Sacramento at the moment, that would explain why.

Well ahead of you. Heard about it over lunch on Friday. Went out to the field with my scanner and my Canon Eos Rebel. Got a fair number of shots on Friday, along with the first departure on Sunday. I don't know if the NCT feed has 127.4 on it, but if it does, you should be able to catch all of the departures out of KMHR. Anywho, enjoy the pics.

EDIT: Supposedly it's on its way to KNYL, but I took another trip (bike ride for me) there during the evening, around 8:30 local. It was still on the ground then.

You're getting four Dreamlifters? You must have a large driveway.

Oh rad, thanks for sharing that. If you have any way to record the audio and share it that would be cool. At night I can usually pick up sacramento area norcal sectors pretty clear along with MHR tower, but unfortunately its hit and miss.

SEATTLE - Boeing puts the final assembly of the 787 Dreamliner in Everett on hold for about a month. The temporary interruption of work is necessary because of a shortage of parts from suppliers and design changes. Boeing has confirmed that to Flight Global
