Beach landing in Florida
« on: March 02, 2010, 16:06:08 UTC »
A new pilot makes a forced landing on the beach thinking he is out of fuel. In reality he forgot to switch tanks.

The plane was flown out a few hours later. Both pilot and plane are OK.

That soft field practice comes in handy sometimes.  ;)

I know where that beach is.  The Flagler airport is about 4nm west of where he landed.
