BDL main gear failure
« on: June 23, 2006, 01:34:04 PM »
I was listening to my scanner to pick up any transmissions about a/c
around BAF related to the airshow and I heard a Beech King Air 90,
N-number: N20, had a landing gear collapse on 24. Both main gears
collapsed and they were unable to pin the nose gear. It is registered
to the FAA. I tried to snap some pics but they arent too great. I
will post them later. Both runways were closed then they opened
15/33. I think it happened around 1220 local. LiveATC archives
should have it.

On a side note, I heard a traffic advisory for a small aircraft
regarding a flight of F-18s around KBAF. The pilots response: "Go Navy! Oorah!!"  This transmission took place around 1315.
