« on: October 14, 2010, 08:16:02 PM »
Below are some awesome pics of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner N787BX (cn 40692/3) from this summer:

#1 and #2 are of the Flight Deck...AWESOME!

#3 is the crew rest area.

#4 is the aft galley, quite large and roomy!

Enjoy!

A few B787-8 aircraft have been spotted in customer colors.

#1 is from Oct 2010, two B787-8s for Royal Air Maroc, and one in JAL colors.

#2 is B787-8 N787EX (cn 40691/2), in the colors of ANA, caught in Sept, 2010.

Nothing in the colors of a US carrier yet...

Northwest had 18 Rolls Royce powered B787-8s on order, but with the Delta merger, those aircraft will be delivered in Delta colors.

Continental also has an order placed for 8 GE powered 787-8s, as well a 17 GE powered B787-9s.

I can't wait to fly on one of these... 8-)

In the first pic on the left most screen (to the right of the tiller) is that displaying a CCTV feed of the cabin?

The screen you see is a multi-function display, alternating between onboard surveillance cameras, airport information charts, etc.

Dead on. If you look at the second pic, the same screen is showing an approach procedure.

That's neat. All the other pictures i've seen have only shown approach plates.  I wonder what else it does.

Do they really need those big stickers on the glareshield in front of the pilots that say "BOEING 787" ? Just in case you got mixed up and thought you were flying B737-200 ? Looks nice, can't wait until my airline orders a few.

According to credible sources, the production 787's multifunction display does not, in fact, run Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is unclear whether it's running iOS 4 or Windows 7 Mobile.

the sky interior takes its features from the planned 787 cabin and other preexisting boeing aircraft.
