Hello Darren,
I've been waiting a long time for a YSSY feed. Thankyou. I'm on dial-up, using Windows media player and it doesn't seem to be working at 08:54UTC 21 Apr 2005. It's probably just teething probs but are you aware of any recurring prob's with your feed? Will you be keeping the link up and running for Sydney's operational hours for some time to come?
I tried the link that you posted on the Sydney Airport forum as well and it still didn't work.
Cheers

Hello there Jane. Thanks for the post. Nice of you to tune it. It has proved very popular so far which is wonderful! :D It will be offline for the rest of the night it has been since 20.00EST but I will have it back online from about 08.00EST tomorrow through the whole weekend. From next Friday it will be online permanently when I have my DSL connection set up and running so please hang in there it will be worth the wait. I have more stuff coming up too on my web site that should interest you. Basically, if it's coming up with an error it's because I'm not broadcasting. Whenever I can I will be but it should be running the whole weekend from tomorrow morning for you. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
Darren

My pleasure Dave. Now you will hear our medical/cargo flights bearing in mind its 23.36EST Local here in Sydney right now. Radio conditions have been slack too over the last few days.Seen much better days but I am sure that will pick up soon enough. Also in the process of setting up my HF gear!
Cheers,
Darren

Thanks for the stream..sounds good to me, with just occasional buffering delays.
I'll be flying to Sydney in August, from Heathrow, so I must listen in to my flights..I'm only in transit down to Christchurch NZ, but I have 5 hours I think.

Hello all,
The feed is now up and running on a permanent basis. Enjoy! :D

I just wanted to say what a blast it is to listen to the yssy feed. but I am having the same problems that everyone else has replied to. I am running very high speed internet with the lastest media player and I still have to click on the play button every four to five minutes when the feed stops. I listen to a lot of feeds and the yssy is the only one that does that.
Besides that it is a great feed.

The feed is on dialup for a few more weeks. Once it's on DSL this should stop.

Hi,
Firstly, I love having a YSSY feed available and listen to it all the time via the LiveATC iPhone App.
Not sure who is hosting the actual feed at present but to whomever that is, firstly thanks and secondly, would it be possible to include some of the frequencies that Darren originally included (see post http://www.liveatc.net/forums/listener-forum/aust-yssy-(sydney-kingford-smith)-airport-live-now-on-air/msg1693/#msg1693). Of particular interest are the two Sydney Director frequencies since there is a gap in coverage during busy times from Approach - Director - Tower.
Thanks,
Adrian.
