Title: ATIS ASOS AWOS
Post by: wweled on April 19, 2010, 12:02:13 PM
Dear friends.

My name is Javier, I live in Argentina, and I am an aeronautical English instructor.

I have asked for help in this forum and I always got a nice and prompt reply from several members that I would like to properly thank at this time.

I am once again, needing some help from you guys.

I am lacking recordings of ATIS AWOS and ASOS. I do have everything else.

If you please can send me feeds of any of the mentioned above I would really appreciate.

thanking you in advance

best regards

Javier

Hello Javier,

Here are some clips I recorded from airports in my area.

KSLC - Salt Lake City International Airport Salt Lake City, Utah
ATIS and ASOS
(Note: The ASOS must be inoperative, as most of the data was heard as "Missing!"    The local news stations also can't show any current data either, which I thought was kinda interesting.)

KOGD - Ogden-Hinckley Airport Ogden, Utah
ASOS
(Note:  This weather report combines NOTAMS given by the tower, as well as the Automated Surface Observation.)

KTWF - Joselin Field / Magic Valley Airport Twin Falls, Idaho
ASOS

I have three more clips that I'll attach in a second post.

The other three I recorded:

KBMC - Brigham City Airport Brigham City, Utah
AWOS-3

KTVY - Bolinder Field / Tooele Valley Airport Tooele, Utah
AWOS-3

And since because I could...I decided to record KJFK.

KJFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport New York, New York
ATIS

Hope these help.

I've been curious about what the Kennedy ATIS sounds like for a while now but it didn't bother me enough to post!
