What's up with KSNA?

Wondering what's happened to the John Wayne Airport feed in Santa Ana California? The feed was crystal clear at one time, now it's very difficult to hear.  ???

There has been construction going on at the receiver site.  Hoping it will improve once that is over.

Hello,

I'm a new student pilot out of KSNA (and a recent app purchaser of LiveATC which I love!).

I'd love to be able to listen to ATC at KSNA to help get familiar with the airport and ATC, but the audio quality is pretty unintelligible most of the time.

I see that back in August of last year there was mention of construction at the receiver site.

Any update on this and whether we can expect a usable feed in the future?

Thanks!

Hard to say....but if you would like to volunteer to help us with a better feed we would love to work with you.

I live about 10 miles from the airport so not sure if it would be helpful.

Thoughts?
